You will be able to see the resident Lions and the huge bull elephants that dominate this landscape amongst many other species.
To make the most of your day, you will take a picnic lunch with you that you will have on the crater's floor in a nice spot by one of the lakes.

Day 7
It is definitely worth rising early today to see the sun rise over the craters eastern rim. Enjoy breakfast and then its time to head to Arusha or Kilimanjaro, around a three hours drive, 175km, for your return home or onward journey for the remainder of your trip.
We highly recommend adding one of our Zanzibar hotels to the end of this safari making a very relaxing beach stay at the end of a busy safari.
