Specialist Travel Consultant - Homeworking
We are currently recruiting for Sales staff for our luxury programmes. Ongoing Product training is a key element of the role, to ensure our consultants give excellent advice to our clients. Regular familiarisation trips take place each year, so our destination specialists have current first-hand knowledge of the destination. We also offer full in-house training in our modern offices and online.
You will have the opportunity to travel on educational trips to learn more about the destinations & products you will be selling. You will be included in our Sales Incentive program. Previous top sellers have achieved places on trips including; Orlando, Dubai, Las Vegas, St Lucia, and Mauritius.
The Ideal Candidate:
You must have a minimum of 2 years travel sales experience and a genuine passion for success. You must have a genuine desire to provide the perfect holiday for our customers. You will receive ongoing industry leading training as well the opportunity to travel.
Location: Homeworking

The Role: As a Specialist Travel Consultant at Tropical Sky, you will get the opportunity to recommend, build and sell tailor-made holidays.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving customer enquiries by telephone and email to book holidays
- Making outbound calls to previous customers to advise and assist on holiday choices
- Follow up on all quotes made
- Assist colleagues’ customers as required
- Aim to achieve company conversion required per destination
- Attend shows, functions, familiarisation trips, and workshops as required
Skills and Experience Required:
- A strong sales background
- Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing personality
- Be target driven & highly motivated
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Travel experience is essential

Sales Support Consultant (Concierge)
Location: Dublin 2
Salary: Competitive Salary and generous incentive scheme
The Role: As a member of the Concierge team at Tropical Sky, you will get the opportunity to amend, upsell and assist customers with worldwide tailored-made holidays. You will be the primary contact for existing customers, offering support mainly post booking but also prior to booking to assist sales specialists who are on annual leave.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support to customers at the quote stage in the absence of the Sales Consultant. Specifically ongoing quote replies and processing of any bookings in absence of the quote owner
- Manage customers post booking with questions and booking amendments, including upselling.
- Communicate with overseas suppliers to facilitate amendments
- Assist with out-of-date range bookings where air or ground changes are commercially or logistically required
- Assist with schedule changes
- Support with client balance chasing
- Take calls during peak times
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Desire to seek opportunities to upsell products & services.
- Good understanding of the English language both oral and written
- Good attention to detail
- Travel experience is essential

Sales Team Supervisor
We are currently recruiting for Sales Supervisor for our Dublin 2 office. The role involves managing the training of a new sales team, managing the progression of current sales team skills, and day-to-day operational supervision of training. This position is part time /permanent, a minimum of 3 days per week in a Dublin City Centre Office. If full time, this can be a hybrid of 3 days in the office, and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the induction of new recruits to the sales team.
- Directly manage a team of new recruits.
- Work closely with the team, motivating and coaching them.
- Training new team, from systems to product knowledge and closing sales.
- Hosting 1:1s and team meetings.
- Mange daily workload and training sessions of new sales team.
- Report on participation in and compliance with training plans against the agreed metrics.
- Keeping up to date with business development and new products / procedures.
- Manage the fair and consistent application of performance management.
- Lead and inspire a team of sales representatives to deliver excellent levels of individual/team performance and customer satisfaction.
- Directly supporting sales representatives in answering calls when necessary.
- Support Managers to highlight areas for improvement.
Essential Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in the travel industry in a sales-to-sales supervisor role
- Strong product knowledge, in particular Europe, cruise, and USA.
- Experience of directly supervising a sales team.
- Ideally having experience in onboarding new recruits.
- Experience in evaluation training needs and measuring performance.
- Proficiency with MS package (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience in managing and collaborating across teams to deliver towards a common goal.
