Overview

The Grotto Bay Beach Resort is a great value for money, family resort and is the only all-inclusive resort on the island. Grotto Bay sits on a lush tropical estate featuring dramatic caves and acres of woodland preserves along the waters edge in Bailey’s Bay. Scattered over 21 acres and sloping down towards the waters edge and three private pink sand beaches are 11 brightly colored, cottages in traditional Bermudian architecture overlooking the turquoise waters dotted with small islands. The Great House with stunning views of the grounds and ocean will make you feel relaxed in a luxurious environment. Darkwood floors, fire places, antiques, tropical colors and spectacular views from every room make the Great House a great place to relax and mingle at the bar or have an exquisite meal in either of the twi restaurants. After dinner, enjoy the warm tropical breezes on one of the terraces surrounding the Great House.

This resort was named Grotto Bay due to the several Grotto’s, which are used as an absolute unique spa facility and within another Grotto, Wedding’s Private Dinners can be held.

Bayside Terrace

Set along the water’s edge, Bayside serves delicious lunches and tropical drinks beside fabulous vistas and cool ocean breezes. This venue also hosts two exceptional themed dinner evenings per week, including a Monday Island BBQ and a Thursday Surf & Turf Grill; both of these are extremely popular so reservations are required.

Expansion and Modernisation
The expansion of Grotto Bay planned for completion April 2024 has been extended to August 2024, however the majority of the new Palm Court Restaurant reopens on 6th May, which marks the end of Phase One of the project.  This also included the refurbishment of the Buttery, featuring casual seating with views across the lawns and bay.  The restaurant will offer a contemporary Island inspired décor and Mediterranean-Bermudian themed menu which complements the dining experience against the backdrop of azure ocean horizons from every angle.  The Rum House Bar has also been re-imagined with plush and inviting seating, creating the perfect ambience for guests to enjoy pre-dinner sundowners.

Phase Two will see the modernisation and expansion of the Hibiscus Restaurant, to include a custom-designed buffet-line and a covered outdoor seating area, due for completion at the end of May 2024. 
Following this, the brand-new East Dining Room and rooftop Panorama Lounge will be completed, offering stunning ocean-range views along with a custom cocktail list. The East Dining Room is due to be completed at the end of June and Panorama Lounge will be fully operational by August 2024.

Work to expand the Main Beach will be completed by mid-May and will add another tier of soft pink sand along the beach, complete with new chaise lounges and umbrellas.  This area is further complemented by the Bayside Bar and Grill that is open and offering a tasty new selection of food and beverage menus.
