Home to stunning archipelagos, turquoise waters and sugary beaches, the eastern Caribbean is a wonderful choice for a cruise holiday. Embarking and disembarking from Miami in Florida, this journey takes you to some of the area's most gorgeous locations.

Staying in Miami South beach before your cruise lets you enjoy the buzz of the streets but also relax amongst the golden beaches. Your first stop is Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, a beautiful combination of towering waterfalls and luscious mountains alongside it's gorgeous beaches. Next is St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, well-known for its excellent snorkelling spots and historic building. Next is Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, home to many white sand beaches and a quaint seaside town, before stopping by Great Stirrup Cay - a private island that offers picturesque bays for cruise travellers to explore.

With two days out at sea, you'll need some great entertainment to keep you occupied. Norwegian Breakaway is a fun and lively ship boasting a fun waterpark and brilliant live entertainment, alongside lovely staterooms and a delicious mix of restaurants.

Day 1 - 3

Miami

Fly into Miami and make your way to your hotel where you'll be relaxing by the pool, sightseeing the vibrant South Beach and huge variety of eateries for the next 3 nights.

Day 4

Miami embark

Make your way independently to Miami port from your hotel and embark on the Norwegian Breakaway.

Day 5

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

A luscious island surrounded with rolling hills, high mountains and majestic waterfalls. Founded in the early 1500s by Christopher Columbus, the Taino people lived here for centuries. Explore the gorgeous area where you can paddle through manatee reserves, soar through the treetops by zip wire or visit El Choco National Park, a protected jungle with two lagoons.

Day 6

St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands

Not all of St. Thomas’ treasures are buried. Most of them are right in the open on this gorgeous island, home of the infamous Bluebeard’s Tower. Whether looking for jewels, crystal, perfume and fine wines in the shops of Charlotte Amalie, or soaking up the sun on the incredible beaches, you’ll marvel at the wealth of history on this treasure-filled paradise.

Day 7

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

All volcanic landscapes, lush jungle and unspoilt shores, Tortola is almost untouched by tourism. Stroll around the crafts market in the charming capital, Roadtown, enjoy your own space on unusually quiet beaches and snorkel in clear, warm waters.

Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas

A stunning private island in the Bahamas exclusively for NCL guests. Stroll along the beautiful white sandy beaches, kayak the turquoise waters or simply relax in a private beachfront cabana.

Day 10

Miami

Disembark this morning and make your way to the Miami airport.
