Flights and Transfers
Direct flights to Owen Roberts International Airport on Grand Cayman take approximately 10 hours. Book your transfers with us and you’ll be met on arrival by a Tropical Sky representative who will guide you to your transfer vehicle.
Visa Requirements
Irish passport holders do not currently require a visa. Irish Citizens travelling to the Cayman Islands require a full Irish Passport which must be valid for 6 months after departure from this country. All children and infants must also have their own passports for entry into the Cayman Islands.
Language
English is the official language – you’ll find it spoken with a heavy Caribbean accent
Transportation
Renting a car is a viable way to get around. You’ll need to obtain a driving permit before you pick up your car. Using taxis is a good alternative if you don’t want to drive.
Currency
The Caymanian Dollar is the official currency although US dollars are often accepted
Electricity
110V, 60 Hz, flat two pronged plugs in use (US/Canada standard)
