Eating, drinking and enjoying the nightlife in the Grenadines
Eating
Breadfruit is one of the staple foods of the Grenadines – as the name suggests, it has a flavour reminiscent of bread with a potato-like consistency. The national dish is breadfruit with fried jackfish.
Drinking and Nightlife
One of the more unique drinks is Black Wine; it packs quite a kick at 20% alcohol content. A great local beer is called Hairoun. Nightlife is limited, especially away from St Vincent. Your hotel or resort will provide evening entertainment. There is also the local Sunset Rum, which is a very delicious option.
