Accommodations

In fact, there’s up to 26 styles of accommodation to choose from - all of which are spacious, sophisticated, stylish, and very spoiling. And while some may offer more glammed-up extras than others (over-the-water hammocks, sexy Tranquility Soaking Tubs, sea-facing sundecks, private plunge pools), all rooms and suites assure modern décor, high-tech amenities, and furnished balconies or patios for all-day lounging. You can also look forward to HD Smart TVs with cable channels, well-stocked minibars that are replenished daily, and snuggle-worthy Sandals’ signature Tranquillity Blissful Beds dressed with premium king-size mattresses, deluxe Egyptian cotton linens, and a choice of pillows (hypoallergenic or feather down). The spa-style bathrooms are just as heavenly; think Turkish ivory stone flooring, carrara marble vanities, oversized fluffy towels, plush his-and-her bathrobes, Red Lane® Spa signature toiletries, walk-in rainfall showers, and freestanding stone-carved Tranquillity Soaking Tubs. Concierge
Launched in 2013, the next-level concierge service Club Sandals certainly has a lot to offer its privileged patrons. From the moment you touchdown, every single thing is taken care of: transfers to your chosen resort (there’s even a Sandals’ dedicated airport lounge), private Club Sandals Concierge VIP check-in with cold or warm towels, and personal in-room and resort orientation with welcome pack. You’ll also have 24-hour access to the Club Sandals Lounge (staff available 8:am to 10pm) - a peaceful get-away-from-it-all space complete with HD flatscreen TV, iPads displaying menus, Kindles, weekly activities and the Manager’s wine list, and free-to-borrow kindles, books, newspapers and games. There’s also coffee machines serving espressos and cappuccinos, and a selection of alcoholic drinks (including the Club Sandals Signature Drink). sparkling wine, juice, soda, and water. You’ll also find a selection of sandwiches, wraps, croissants, pastries, muffins, cookies (mainly chocolate, coconut, or sugar), and island treats such as rumballs and macaroons. Extras from the eager-to-please Club Sandals Concierge team include assistance with all aspects of your holiday planning, taking care of every single reservation (dining, spa, private dinners, tours, excursions), complimentary all-day room service from 7:00am to 10:00pm (excludes Sandals Halcyon Beach), and daily contact to ensure you are always being extremely well looked after.

Butler Service
Available to guests staying in the top-tier luxury suites, Sandals Butler Elite Service® is every bit as posh as it sounds. On arrival, you’ll be greeted with lemongrass-scented hand towels to refresh you from your flight, offered welcome cocktails, whisked through check-in with no additional paperwork, escorted to your suite, and presented with a mobile phone so that you can summon your butler as needed. They’ll also note down any personal preferences so that they can fulfil all requests (however outlandish) with apparent ease, unpack your luggage (if required), and offer to press your first nights’ clothes. And while the exact role of these professional pamperers varies from guest to guest, all are constantly on call to assist you with dinner, tour or spa reservations as well as collecting and returning your laundry and dry cleaning. All you have to do is take advantage of the extra (and wonderfully spoiling) help and have them shine your shoes, escort you to dinner, turndown your bedding, run you a rose petal-scented bath, tend to your wardrobe, and make sure that you’re never without an ice-cold cold drink.

Land Sports
When it comes to packing in a staggering amount of high-octane Land Sports, Sandals manages the trick with aplomb. There’s croquet, beach volleyball, billiards, rock-wall climbing, golf, cricket, basketball, day and night tennis, horseshoes, darts, bocce ball, shuffleboard, lawn chess, table tennis, cards, dominoes, squash, and racquetball - all of which are included. Equally appealing for those keen to torch calories at a lightning-fast rate and get their adrenaline pumping are the state-of-the-art Red Lane® Fitness Centres - all of which are kitted out with virtual trainers, integrated TVs on consoles, iPod docking stations, and Life Fitness® cardio and weight equipment (treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes, step machines, stairclimbers, and free weights). You can also enjoy unlimited yoga sessions and an extensive range of Red Lane® Tribe-Inspired classes including low-impact aqua fitness, power walking, high-intensity tabata workouts, dynamic stretching, and jammin’ - an energetic music-infused cardio blast to Latin, Caribbean and American beats. Personal instruction is always complimentary, but equipment and classes vary from resort to resort. Guests also have the option to book a private sessions with a Red Lane® Fitness Pro who will figure out your fitness goals, customise your workouts, and help you focus on getting the best from yourself (charges apply for this service).

Golf
Given that the backdrop is all dreamy deep-blue seascapes, swaying palms, and glistening white sands, it’s rather easy to get into the swing of things at Sandals’ golf-centric resorts. There’s the Greg Norman-designed 18-hole championship course at Sandals Emerald Bay in the Bahamas, the 18-hole course at Sandals Golf & Country Club at Ocho Rios in Jamaica, and the 9-hole par 33 course at Sandals Regency La Toc in St. Lucia. On all three courses, golfers can enjoy unlimited play (for Butler-Level guests only at Emerald Bay) and complimentary green fees, round-trip transportation, and the use of PGA-certified golf clinics. Private PGA golf lessons and playing lessons with a PGA pro are available at an additional cost and by appointment only. Further services include club storage, practice ranges with chipping and putting greens, changing facilities, and the option of chasing par with a caddy (mandatory for all courses) or golf cart. There is also a rental service for Adidas golf shoes and TaylorMade Golf clubs. On selected courses, golfers can enjoy unlimited play in Jamaica and St Lucia.

Watersports
Those looking to take to the water without splashing out on any additional costs can choose from a huge selection of motorised and non-motorised watersports. Complete with top-notch equipment, professional instruction, unlimited free lessons, and the largest operation of watercraft in the Caribbean (270 speciality boats in total), you can expect supercool watery fun by way of tubing, kayaking, paddleboating, kneeboarding, sailing, windsurfing, snorkelling, and aquatriking. There’s also waterskiing with MasterCraft® Tow Boats, water hammocks, wakeboarding, and glass bottom boats at selected resorts. Equally worthy of your attention is Sandals’ on-site Aqua Centre - a superb facility that offers one of the most comprehensive scuba programs in the Caribbean. Here you’ll find state-of-the-art Newton boats, fully-certified PADI® dive masters, exciting dive sites, and high-end equipment including Luxfer and Catalina tanks, silicon masks, weight belts, Scuba Pro® regulators, silicone masks, snorkels, Deep Blue Fins® snorkelling fins. Subject to passing a swim evaluation and medical questionnaire, there’s PADI® courses for brand new divers, DAN Speciality Courses for basic life support and first aid, and daily opportunities for certified divers and resort-certified divers to plunge into the deep. As safety is paramount, all divers (qualified or not) must be accompanied by an experienced guide. Unlimited Scuba Diving for certified divers and the Discover Scuba Diving for Beginners program are available at additional costs.

Red Lane® Spa
For spa-lovers looking to lift their spirits and sooth away stress, the award-winning Red Lane® Spa is a high-end pampering space with private treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, several intimate relaxation spots, and a glamour bar for luxury manicures and pedicures. With a focus on classic European beauty rituals reinterpreted with Caribbean flair, the indulgent treatment menu includes massages (hot stone, aromatic, mother-to-be, antioxidant-rich oils), body scrubs (coffee, salt, sugar cane, papaya, pineapple extracts), body wraps (green coffee, seaweed), and an extensive selection of facials to leave your skin glowing and gorgeous. Sample treatments include the Scents of Love Couples Massage with romantic candle lighting and warm massage oil rituals, In Good Spirits Body Scrub with cocktail-inspired body exfoliation and nourishing body milk or rich shea butter, and Heaven On Earth Facial with a welcoming back ritual, soothing leg massage, and foot treatment. All treatments are customised by a professional Red Lane® Rejuvenation Specialist who is dedicated to creating an unrivalled experience with a focus on CONNECTION, TIME and LOVE. You’ll also have the chance to purchase Red Lane® Spa products (cleansers, toners, moisturisers, body lotions, body butters, firming masks, mineral bath salts, body scrubs, organic oils, hydration mists) - an all-natural collection created with island-infused ingredients, botanical products, and essential oils. Dining
Sandals’ 5 Star Global Gourmet Dining™ is a palate-pleasing programme that delivers ingredient-driven cuisine by the plateful. With up to 16 restaurants per resort (the highest eatery-per-guest ratio in the Caribbean), you’re assured up to 25 global-inspired cuisines; from Italian, Caribbean, Japanese, French, Indian, Pan Asian, Mediterranean, Mexican and Southern American to specialities such as British pub grub, sushi, seafood, teppanyaki, seaside grills, tapas, steaks, and classic brasserie and patisserie fare. Not only is everything included, but you’ll get to call the shots in terms of what you eat and where (aside from the unique restaurants most popular is poolside, on the beach, on an offshore island, or in the comfort of your suite*).
