How about splitting your time across two different neighbourhoods when you're in LA? We recommend 3 nights in Hollywood and 3 nights in Santa Monica or Anaheim to experience fantastic theme parks and beaches. After your time in LA, head to Long Beach where you will embark on a fantastic family Carnival cruise sailing around Baja Mexico stopping off at Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico! Day 1 - Day 7   Los Angeles

Fly into LAX and explore this metropolitan city full of diverse and unique neighbourhoods! Look to stay in Anaheim where you can explore Disney California and Knotts Berry Farm theme parks, how about staying nearer Universal Studios near Hollywood where you can explore its iconic sites? Alternatively, if you want to chill by the beach, stay in Santa Monica with its culinary delights, beautiful beach and pier to see the end of Route 66!

Day 8   Long Beach, CA - Embark

Make your way independently to Long Beach port where you will embark your Carnival Cruise at midday before its departure at 4pm. Get settle in your cabin and explore the ships activities on board. Your four-night cruise includes full board but we can upgrade your dining and drinks package.

Day 9   Catalina Island

A long-standing getaway for city hikers and sun seekers, Catalina Island offers breathtaking views from atop the island’s cliffs. You can also kayak into protected coves and hidden beaches, snorkel and scuba dive in Avalon Beach’s Pacific Ocean waters, and observe the thick kelp forests of Casino Point Marine Park.

Day 10   Ensenada

The port city of Ensenada, on the Pacific coast of Mexico, has a stunning coastline and a formidable reputation for its cuisine, with fresh oysters and rich Baja merlot being just two of the delicacies. With plenty of opportunities to sightsee, shop and kayak at Punta Banda, and beautiful jewellery and handmade pottery on Avenida López Mateos, it’s no wonder that Ensenada has a history of being a favourite hideaway for Hollywood stars.

Day 11   Day at Sea

Enjoy today relaxing onboard and taking in the beautiful California sun!

Day 12   Los Angeles

Your cruise has sadly come to an end but not to be forgotten anytime soon. Disembark in Long Beach and make your way independently to the airport for your flight home. Alternatively, why not extend your holiday? How about exploring Southern California with a trip to San Diego, with only a two-hour drive south of Los Angeles or 3 hours on the scenic Pacific Surfliner train.
