In the charming Upper Town, you’ll wander onto St. Mark’s Square, home to original Romanesque buildings and the colourful St. Mark’s Church, famous for its intricate frescoes.
Next, the journey leads to the picturesque town of Bled, nestled in Slovenia’s stunning green landscapes. This lakeside resort is steeped in legend. Hear the story of the fairies who created the lake to protect their moonlit dancefloor—Bled Island—and learn about historic figures such as Holy Roman Emperor Henry II, who visited for the lake’s reputed medicinal benefits and stunning views. Surrounded by breathtaking Alpine landscapes, you’ll begin to understand why this enchanting destination captures the hearts of so many.

Day Three
Lake Bled

Day Four
Ljubljana and Opatija
Departing from Bled, the journey continues to Ljubljana, one of Europe’s smallest capitals and known as the ‘Hero City.’ This charming, car-free university town offers mythical dragon heritage, and breathtaking medieval architecture. Stroll through the Old Town, where two medieval squares are linked by narrow lanes, and visit Prešeren Square, named after Slovenia’s greatest poet. Overlooking the city for more than nine centuries, Ljubljana Castle adds a touch of timeless elegance. Connecting the medieval Old Town with the modern capital is the iconic Triple Bridge, a striking architectural feature.
The adventure then takes you to Postojna for a visit to its famous caves. After a day of sightseeing, the pace slows as you arrive on Croatia’s Riviera, where the resort town of Opatija offers a relaxing coastal retreat.

Day Five
Pula and Rovinj
Begin your day in Pula, a coastal city on Croatia’s Istrian Peninsula, where a visit to the 1st-century Pula Arena with a Local Specialist will uncover its historical significance. Once a strategic site for the Romans, Ostrogoths, Venetians, and much later the Allied Forces in World War II, Pula is steeped in history. The ancient amphitheatre, built alongside the Colosseum, is a true marvel— the sixth-largest in the world and one of the best-preserved.
Continue to the fishing port of Rovinj, where a stroll through the Old Town reveals its Mediterranean charm and the enduring strength of its island walls.
Later, return to Opatija for a peaceful walk along the Lungomare and take a moment to reflect by the statue of a nymph holding a seagull, her graceful form capturing the spirit of the Adriatic coast.

Day Six
Plitvice

Day Nine
Dubrovnik
The magnificent walls of Dubrovnik invite you to explore their storied past. This morning, embark on a comprehensive sightseeing tour that showcases Dubrovnik’s highlights along with some local gems.
