The town of Amalfi is characterised by its white-washed buildings and fascinating maritime and medieval history – plus the gorgeous pebble beaches.

We love the Amalfi Coast’s culture and art scene. Art lovers will find many fantastic art galleries to explore, including Sorrento’s Museo Bottege della Tarsia Lignea with its stunning frescoes, and Positano’s Franco Sensi that is home to over 40 Italian modern painters. Music plays a big part in their culture too – we recommend visiting Ravello between June and September to experience the Ravello Festival, a vibrant festival that sees the city become one big outdoor stage for incredible ballet, orchestral concerts and film screenings.
