Inspired and designed to depict a traditional Malay village, Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa’s architecture was conceptualised to blend in with the environment. Characteristically raised on stilts with open spacious verandas, featuring sloping roofs, exposed roof tiles and trusses.

Elegantly furnished in soft, pastel colours, each guestroom is thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities while the lighting creates a soft, cosy ambience. Garden Terrace Room – these double storey chalet style rooms have a balcony which overlooks the tropical gardens in a tranquil and natural setting. Rooms are 47sqm in size with either a king or twin bed.
Lakefront Room – gorgeously scenic backdrop from this room of the lake with the same amenities as the Garden Terrace Room. Rooms are 47sqm in size with either a king or twin bed.
Pool Terrace Room – easy access to the resorts two outdoor swimming pools from the terrace. Rooms are 47sqm in size with either a king or twin bed.
Island View Room – offering direct beach access onto the private stretch of Cenang Beach for ultimate relaxation and gorgeous sea views. Rooms are 47sqm in size with either a king or twin bed.
Family Garden View Room –the family room comes complete with a living area for communal living along with a king size bed and one single bed accommodating up to 4. Rooms are 55sqm in size.
Family Island View Room – the same amenities as above only with direct beach access and fantastic ocean views, one king size bed, one single and a convertible day bed. Rooms are 55sqm in size.
Suites have access to the Club Lounge:
The Club Lounge is open daily from 7.30am to 9pm. Facing the sea, the Meritus Club Lounge offers a tranquil setting where guests can enjoy exclusivity, comfort and personalised services. The club services 21 suites and 18 Meritus Club rooms’ occupants.
Complimentary buffet breakfast is available from 7.30am to 10.30am while sunset cocktails are available between 5pm and 7pm. Club members can entertain or just relax in the privacy of the Club Lounge which is well-equipped with magazines, books, selected board games, TV and DVDs. Private dinners can also be arranged for guests who prefer privacy or are celebrating special occasions.
Pelangi Junior Suites – these suites are housed in either single or double storey chalets, closeby to the resorts facilities and beautifully appointed with a lounge and bedroom area. Suites are 73sqm in size.
Pelangi Suites – featuring high ceilings across two private verandas and a spacious, marble ensuite with shower and bathtub off the master bedroom with a spacious lounge area for relaxing. Suites are 97sqm in size.
