A coastal city that's constantly evolving

Once a lesser-known destination, Da Nang has recently started to make its mark with its ongoing modernisation. Walk along the beachfront and you'll discover new resorts popping up - each as contemporary and luxurious as the next - whilst the nighttime draws in fabulous neon lights, cool bars and a thriving foodie scene.

There's still a nod to Da Nang's history though, and a few wonderful sightseeing trips to enjoy. Discover the beautiful Phap Lam Pagoda during the day, and on a weekend evening wander to the Dragon Bridge for 9pm to see the magnificent dragon sculpture spout fire and water - it's best seen from one of the nearby cafes, or you could join a boat trip along the Han River.
