Day 1
Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi. Your arrival transfer is included.
Day 2
Hanoi
Today you’ll take a guided cyclo tour of the Old Quarter and enjoy a fun-filled water puppet theatre performance in the evening. There’s also the option to visit some of the museums and go shopping through the bustling Vietnamese streets. Little Hanoi is well-known for its culinary selection so check out the local dishes.

Day 3-4
Ha Long Bay
Take a 3-4 hour drive to Ha Long Bay, one of Vietnam’s most famous locations, for a cruise and a visit to one of the caves and some of the islands. For lunch, enjoy some of the locally caught seafood, then take an overnight train to Hue on day 4.

Day 5
Hue
You’ll arrive mid-morning where you’ll transfer to your hotel, upon arrival you’ll have a guided tour of Imperial Citadel - Hue was once the imperial capital. You’ll take a tour of the Citadel which contains the Forbidden Purple City which was modelled on the Forbidden City in Beijing. Later the optional activities you can partake in include a visit to the Royal Tombs, Tien Mu Pagoda or a countryside motorbike tour.

Day 6-8
Hoi An
You’ll travel over the Hai Van Pass to Hoi An and go to a noodle making class where you can try some of the delicious variety of noodles. Activities we’d recommend here include a riverboat trip, a visit to the tailors for some handmade clothing or visit My Son ruins. The picturesque port of Hoi An used to be an important trading town with strong south Chinese influences and connections. You’ll have the chance to explore the Museum of History and Culture, the Tan Ky house and the many shops and markets.

Day 9
Ho Chi Minh City
Take a morning flight from Da Nang (Hoi An) to Ho Chi Minh City where you can enjoy a city tour of central Saigon.

Day 10
Mekong Delta
Today sees you take a boat trip along the Mekong Delta, where thousands of small islands and inlets are formed and make up the mighty Mekong. Your boat trip through the small villages show you a more traditional side to Vietnamese life. You will end the day with a traditional dinner with a local family and an insight into what life is like on the islands.

Day 11
Ho Chi Minh City
Return to Ho Chi Minh City then the afternoon is yours to explore at your leisure. You may want to take a visit to the War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace and the Ben Thanh Market.

Depart Ho Chi Minh City
Included transfer to the airport where you'll depart.
