Flight and transfers
You’ll fly in to Seychelles International Airport, which is in Mahe. You’ll be met at the airport by a Tropical Sky rep who will help you find your transfer vehicle.
Visa Requirements
Irish passport holders must have a passport valid for at least the duration of intended stay. A visitor’s permit must be obtained upon arrival, which lasts for 30 days. You must have a return or onward ticket, as well as proof of sufficient funds (150 USD per day) and proof of accommodation for your visit.
Language
The primary language is Seychelles Creole but you’ll easily find people who speak English. If you’ve got a little ability in French it will help enormously away from the resorts.
Transportation
Praslin is small and getting around on foot will likely be all you need. Your resort will be able to arrange any additional travel for you or you can use taxis.
Currency
The Seychelles Rupee is the official currency.
