Day 1 (Monday)
Santiago
On your first day, you will transfer to your hotel before embarking on a fascinating half-day city tour of bustling Santiago. Vibrant and trendy, Santiago is a cosmopolitan hub of Latino nightlife, art galleries, colourful festivals and verdant parks.
Your tour begins in the downtown area, before taking you along the city’s famous main avenue, Alameda, to see iconic attractions including Santa Lucia Hill and San Francisco Church. Next is a trip to the Plaza de Armas and the cathedral, before exploring the Central Market. After that, you’ll journey across the Mapocho River to discover the idyllic Bellavista district and San Cristobal Hill. The view at the top of the hill is stunning – overlooking the whole of Santiago and the Andes Mountains. The tour will end by passing through the modern residential areas of Santiago.

Day 2
Santiago
Today is free for you to explore the city as you wish. There’s a couple of great optional excursions that you could choose from: a full day excursion to Valparaiso and Vina del Mar – two gorgeous and historical port cities close by to Santiago, or a wine pairing at Vinolia – a wonderful theatre venue that offers an audiovisual tasting experience.

Day 3
Santiago – Puerto Montt – Puerto Varas
Your day begins with a transfer to the airport for the flight to Puerto Montt. Once there, you’ll be met at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel is Puerto Varas, which is 12 miles away.
Overlooking Lago Llanquihue, one of Chile’s largest and most picturesque lakes, Puerto Varas is a beautiful destination. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 4
Puerto Varas
Today you will join a brilliant full-day tour to discover what the surrounding area has to offer. The excursion begins with a 2 hours cruise along Todos los Santos Lake, an emerald-hue lake surrounding by verdant forest. Along the way, you’ll come across Petrohué Waterfalls and the magnificent Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronador volcanoes, before arriving in the small ecological village of Peulla.
Though only being home to 120 people, Peulla is a great spot to enjoy a few outdoorsy activities. After your cruise, you’ll have time to horse ride, enjoy a 4x4 safari and ziplining before transferring back to your hotel.

Day 5
Puerto Varas
Day five is free for you to enjoy as you wish. You may want to join in on the optional full day excursion to Chiloe island, a beautiful destination with picturesque waterfronts and stilted houses. The tour journeys to Castro, Rio Gamboa, and Dalcahue, taking in gorgeous squares, churches and even a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 6
Puerto Varas – Puerto Montt – Punta Arenas
The day begins with a transfer to the airport in Puerto Montt, enjoying a sightseeing tour of the city along the way. The tour includes exploring Reloncavi Bay, Tenglo Island, and the town centre, as well as visiting the traditional fish and seafood marker, Angelmó.
You’ll then board a flight to Punta Arenas, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 7
Punta Arenas – Torres del Paine National Park
Your morning begins with a half-day tour of Punta Arenas. The southernmost continental town of South America, your tour starts with a walk along Avenida Independencia to see the impressive monuments. Then, you’ll reach Cerro La Cruz and take in the beautiful views of Punta Arenas – including its colourful roofs, and Tierra del Fuego Island in the distance.
Once back at your hotel, you’ll be picked up in the early afternoon and driven into the incredible Torres del Paine National Park, a stunning area characterised by its huge sheep farms, barren landscape, and the Patagonian steppe.

Day 8
Torres del Paine National Park
Today you are free to enjoy the wonderful all-inclusive amenities at Hotel Rio Serrano. Your package includes:

Torres del Paine – Punta Arenas – Santiago de Chile
Wake early in the morning for your transfer to Punta Arenas airport, for your flight to Santiago (not included). Once there, you’ll be transferred to your hotel where you can relax for the rest of the day.
